An adept vocalist, guitarist, and keys player, Kali has worked as a performer, composer, and session musician, and can design lessons for a breadth of instruments and styles. Drawing upon her Master’s degree in Composition, Bachelor’s in Songwriting, and experience as a music business co-founder, she shares industry insight and university-level knowledge at accessible prices.

1-to-1 Classes:

Focussing on learning through practice, Kali can guide you through lyric writing, songwriting, composition, arrangement, orchestration, music theory, ear-training, improvisation, and audio capture. Each lesson is bespoke to your goals and ability, progressing you through the creative process at your pace. She can help you learn something new, hone your skills, or develop your current project.

Kali covers a range of contemporary music technologies essential for composers, such as microphones, MIDI controllers, DAWs, notation softwares, VSTs, and AI tools. She is an expert in Logic Pro, Muse Score, sound design, and foley.

Workshops:

Kali’s songwriting workshops nurture a fun, engaging environment to develop musicianship in a hands-on way. Believing in the power of improvisation, her instrumental, vocal, and theatrical games break down barriers and encourage bonding, collaboration, and a big deal of laughter to let songwriting skills blossom.

Taking a ‘practice what you preach’ approach to teaching, Kali participates in choral music groups, attends creative workshops, and has completed an advanced acting course. She blends her expanding skillset with her university education to evolve and deliver exciting new content.
